Singer
Bernadeta Astari is a vocal artist with a strong stage presence and a beautiful, expressive voice. After completing high school in Jakarta, Bernadeta came to the Netherlands to study singing at the conservatory. Already during her studies she won important prizes, such as the Dutch Classical Talent Award and the IVC 's-Hertogenbosch. In 2012 she graduated with honors from Utrecht Conservatory. Her versatility soon landed her roles in special musical theatre productions and operas. Whether at a large festival or a small recital, she shines and turns every performance into a special experience for the audience with her voice and acting talent.

Trumpet
Romanian-born Albert Baciu made his solo debut at just fourteen years of age with the Ciprian Porumbescu Orchestra. Since then, he has performed with the National Moldovan Orchestra and the Whitgift London Orchestra. He studied with Vasile Ciubuc and renowned trumpet virtuosos, including Max Sommerhalder, Omar Tomasoni, Otto Sauter, and Adam Rappa. Currently, Albert is studying for his master's degree with Miroslav Petkov at the Amsterdam Conservatory. His performances blend classical precision with the vibrant energy of Balkan folk traditions, a reflection of his Romanian roots and his drive to merge cultural authenticity with modern expression. He is a member of the Young Nederlands Blazers Ensemble and is one of the most promising young trumpet players of his generation
Vincent Bijlo was born in Amsterdam in 1965 – or so they say, as he has no memory of it. He recalls a lot from his upbringing; it was quite boring from time to time, which prompted his early decision to become a stand-up comedian. To this day, he provides the Netherlands with a vital dose of satire and perspective. In his view, people take themselves far too seriously, which fuels many of humanity’s major problems. Alongside being a stand-up comedian, he works as a musician, author, and podcast maker. Bringing light to heavy themes forms the core of his work, yet he strictly avoids lapsing into soul-destroying superficiality. Poetry, beauty, and a meaningful life—that is what truly matters to him.

Piano
Tobias Borsboom, praised for his "exquisite touch" (Trouw), made his breakthrough in the Netherlands as the winner of the 2015 Dutch Classical Talent Award and Audience Award. He has established himself as a versatile, creative musician with great finesse. He soloes with the North Netherlands Orchestra and the Residentie Orchestra, among others, and is also in high demand as a chamber musician. With piano duo partner Yukiko Hasegawa, he was elected to Shizuoka no Meishutachi (Masters of Shizuoka) in 2018, and has since performed regularly in Japan. He gives literary concerts with author Jan Brokken, is an acting musician in his own productions, and was artist-in-residence of the Vriendenconcerten concert series 2017-2019. In addition to his busy concert life, he teaches at the Amsterdam Conservatory.
Violin
Leonie Bot joined the second violin section of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in April 2013. She studied with Coosje Wijzenbeek at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, with Istvan Párkányi in Amsterdam, and with Axel Strauss at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. In San Francisco, she joined the New Century Chamber Orchestra. She has performed as a substitute with various orchestras, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Flanders Opera Symphony Orchestra. She co-organized Classical Revolution, an American-inspired classical jam session open to the public and held monthly at Cafe Eijlders in Amsterdam. The Foundation Concertgebouworkest acquired an L. Storioni violin for Leonie, given to her on loan in 2015.
Bassoon
Lola Descours is the first prize-winner on the bassoon of the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition (2019) in Moscow. At just 19 years old, Lola joined the Orchestre de Paris, later moving on to the Frankfurt Opera. She soloed with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra in Russia, the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra in Japan, and Les Violons du Roy in Canada, touring extensively worldwide. Currently, she serves as principal bassoonist with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and teaches at the Amsterdam Conservatory. She regularly coaches at the Verbier Festival and for the French Youth Orchestra. Her albums Bassoon Steppes and Nadia received critical acclaim from the international press. In collaboration with filmmaker Pierre Dugowson, Lola has created a three-part video series dedicated to the bassoon.

Guitar
Izhar Elias is one of the most versatile and internationally acclaimed classical guitarists of the moment. His poetic style and groundbreaking programming are founded on an extensive immersion in historical performance practice (Renaissance, Baroque, and early 19th century), chamber music, and contemporary music combined with multimedia. He has given concerts, lectures, and masterclasses in Europe, Russia, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the US. He is a recipient of the prestigious Dutch Music Prize (2011), the highest musical award given by the Dutch gevernment. As a soloist, he has worked with orchestras such as the Residentie Orkest, Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, Nederlands Kamerorkest, and Amsterdam Sinfonietta. Since September 2019, Izhar has been affiliated as a teacher with the Amsterdam Conservatory.

Piano
Demian (16 years old) started piano lessons at an early age in Samara (Russia). Immediately following the outbreak of the war with Ukraine, his family fled to the Netherlands. He currently studies with Frank van de Laar at the Sweelinck Academy of the Amsterdam Conservatory and is considered a tremendous talent. His accolades include winning third prize at the Princess Christina Competition in 2023, the Piano Biennial Prize 2025, and TOETSEN, the YPF/LISZT Utrecht - junior competition in March 2025. He soloed with orchestras in works by Haydn, Mendelssohn, Shostakovich, and Henkemans, including with the NJSO (Dutch Youth String Orchestra). Outside his passion for all things music, Demian loves cooking, table tennis, owls, and cats.
Viola
The Italian violist Martina Forni plays many kinds of music – from baroque to contemporary music, passing through jazz and Argentine tango – and turned her into an eclectic musician. In 2013, she joined the Concertgebouw Orchestra. She graduated cum laude from the conservatories of both Verona and Amsterdam. Among her teachers were Nobuko Imai, Michael Gieler, and Anner Bijlsma. She was a member of the Radio Philharmonisch Orchestra and played in the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Asko|Schönberg. Martina Forni is co-founder of the prize-winning Ensemble Lumaka, member of the GoYa Quartet for five years, and plays now with Il Faro Quartet. Martina plays a Giovanni Rota viola which she has on loan from the Foundation Concertgebouworkest.
Violin
Ruña 't Hart began playing the violin at the age of two. At ten, she studied with Coosje Wijzenbeek and entered the young talent department of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague one year later. She played in the Fancy Fiddlers, serving as concertmaster in her final years. She studied with Vera Beths and Shunske Sato, completing her master's degree with distinction at the Amsterdam Conservatory in 2018. In 2016, she received the violin scholarship from the Kersjes Fonds. Currently, Ruña is the violinist of the Marigold Piano Quartet and teaches chamber music at the Musikakademie Liechtenstein. She makes an impression with her qualities as a soloist and passionate chamber musician, and her diverse musical interests span from Baroque to Contemporary repertoire.
Viola
Anna Magdalena den Herder graduated cum laude from the Amsterdam Conservatory and was Artist-in-Residence during the NJO Music Summer 2013. She became the first violist to receive the Kersjes van Groenekan Prize (2009). She won first prize (2011), and both second and the audience prize (2009) at the National Viola Competition. She soloed with orchestras across major Dutch concert halls, and collaborated with renowned musicians such as Gordan Nicolic, Liza Ferschtman, Colin Carr, Lynn Harrell, and Gary Hoffman. She performed at the Delft Chamber Music Festival, the International Chamber Music Festival The Hague, Musica Reale with members of the RCO in Italy, and Harriet&Friends in Austria. Since 2015, Anna Magdalena serves as assistant principal violist for the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.
Piano
Kanako Inoue was born in Japan, and moved to Tokyo at the age of fifteen to study at the Toho Gakuen College of Music. After her bachelor's, she participated in a masterclass at the Musik Zentral summer school in Austria with Martijn van de Hoek. Moved by her talent, he invited her to study at the Utrecht Conservatory. The following year, she relocated to the Netherlands, completing her master's degree in 2008. She continued her studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory to study Fortepiano with Stanley Hoogland. Today, Kanako performs solo and as an accompanist with artists including Bernadeta Astari. She currently works at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague as a répétiteur for the dance and music programs.

Violin
Eeva Koskinen, born in Helsinki, studied at the Sibelius Academy, and continued her studies with Viktor Liberman at the Utrecht Conservatory. She extended her studies with Wladimir Spivakov in France. After winning top-prizes at competitions, such as Tibor Varga (Switzerland), Vina del Mar (Chile) and Japan Competition (Tokyo), she has performed as a soloist with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Concertgebouw Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan, and all the leading Finnish orchestras. With the North Netherlands Orchestra she gave Dutch premieres of violin concertos by Krenek, Tabachnik, and “Mambo, Blues and Tarantella” by Mark-Anthony Turnage. Eeva co-founded the Utrecht String Quartet, holds a teaching position at the Utrecht Conservatorium, and is first concertmaster of the North Netherlands Orchestra.
Piano
Daniel Kramer is widely recognized as a versatile and passionate pianist. He soloed with the Residentie Orkest, the Radio Kamer Filharmonie, Insomnio, and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, with conductors like Peter Eötvös and Reinbert de Leeuw. His accolades include first national prize in the Christina Competition, the Concorso Seghizzi, and the Olivier Messiaen competition in Paris. He studied with Håkon Austbø at the Amsterdam Conservatory, completing his master's degree with distinction. As a chamber musician, he performs with many musicians, including Janine Jansen, Nobuko Imai, Liza Ferschman, and Charles Neidich. He worked as a repetiteur with Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Jaap van Zweden, Mariss Jansons, John Eliot Gardiner, and Riccardo Chailly. Currently, Daniel works as a répétiteur and teacher at the Amsterdam Conservatory.

Frank van de Laar studied with Jan Wijn at the Sweelinck Conservatory Amsterdam, where he graduated with the highest distinction. He continued his studies in Hanover with Prof. Karl-Heinz Kämmerling and in Amsterdam with Naum Grubert. In 1987 he won third prize at the International Brahms Competition in Hamburg and in 1988 first prize at the Postbank-Sweelinck Competition, followed by his debut in the main hall of the Concertgebouw. Since then, he has performed all over the world to critical acclaim. His repertoire ranges from Bach to contemporary music, including lesser-known and new masterpieces. Frank is an avid chamber musician and is loved for his musical depth. He holds teaching positions at the conservatories of Amsterdam and Zwolle.
Violin
Praised by Gramophone for her "remarkable fire and vibrant tone," Canadian-American violinist Shannon Lee has won numerous awards, including Fourth Prize at the 2019 Queen Elisabeth Competition. She debuted at age twelve with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and toured in Europe with the Nuremberg Philharmonic at fourteen. She has since soloed worldwide with orchestras including the Tokyo, Shanghai, and the New York String Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. She studied at the Curtis Institute, Cleveland Institute, and the Amsterdam Conservatory with Jaime Laredo, Ida Kavafian, Arnold Steinhardt, and Vera Beths. She also holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Columbia University. Since 2023, Shannon has been the founder and director of the Chamber Music Perspectives Workshop, a summer school for young string players.

Carla Leurs performs worldwide as a soloist with orchestras such as Les Solistes Européens, the NDR Radiophilharmonie, and the Sinfonieorchester Basel. An avid chamber musician, she performed with musicians like Itzhak Perlman, Vilde Frang, Nicolas Altstaedt, and Sol Gabetta, with whom she also performed Brahms' Double Concerto. Maud Nelissen graduated cum laude from the Utrecht Conservatory, studying with Herman Uhlhorn. Her specialty and great passion is accompanying silent films, for which she has gained international recognition. Besides playing solo in silent films, Maud also composes and arranges for various ensembles, both chamber music and orchestra. She worked in Italy with Charlie Chaplin's last music arranger, Eric James. Since then she has performed at festivals and special events in Europe, the United States, and Asia. In 2011, she made her Hollywood debut at the TCM Festival. She founded her own ensemble, The Sprockets, to accompany silent films, and performs both solo and with The Sprockets, as well as with various other ensembles and orchestras.

Joris van Rijn is one of the Netherlands’ leading violinists. He studied with Els Krieg, Jaring Walta, and at the Juilliard School in New York with Glenn Dicterow (concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic) and Robert Mann (Juilliard Quartet). As primarius of the Ruysdael Quartet, he studied with the Alban Berg Quartet (Cologne) and won the prestigious Kersjes Prize. He soloed with orchestras like the Residentie and the Radio Symphony with Jaap van Zweden, Ed Spanjaard, Shlomo Mintz. He recorded a solo violin CD featuring Dutch composers with Janine Jansen and Benjamin Schmid, Joris serves as concertmaster of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra since 2002. In addition, he is the artistic leader of Linari Classic, festival della Musica Classic in Italy.
Viola
Alix Rodenburg (18 years old) started playing the violin at the age of four with Coosje Wijzenbeek. In 2014 she joined the Sweelinck Academy at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, later studying with Sarah Kapustin (2021) and also with Judith Wijzenbeek (2023). She won prizes at the Iordens Violin Competition (2018) and at the Britten Viola Competition 2025. In 2026, she was awarded the Ad Mosam Baroque Prize at the Princess Christina Competition for her; "exceptional musical sensitivity, beautiful bowing, and warm, lyrical viola sound." In 2025, she featured as a soloist with the NJSO in Leo Smit’s viola concerto in the (Amici) Vriendenconcerten series. Alix plays a 'Gagliano' violin made available to her by the Elise Mathilda Foundation.
Piano
Sabine Simon studied with Annerose Schmidt (Hanns Eisler), György Sebök (Indiana University Bloomington), and Hans Leygraf (Mozarteum University Salzburg). Collaborating with composers like György Kurtág, she gave numerous world and German premieres. She made her debut with the Berliner Symphoniker at just sixteen. As a soloist, she performed with orchestras like the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, Berliner Rundfunk Orchestra, the Polish Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra Lodz, the Mozart Soloists Salzburg, and the Orquesta de Camara de Bellas Artes from Mexico with conductors such as Dennis Russel Davies and Claus-Peter Flor. After teaching at Damstadt’s Akademie für Tonkunst from 2004–2024 she became director of its talent program. Since 2024, Sabine serves as a professor of piano at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK)
Cello
Canadian-born cellist Pamela Smits has received wide acclaim for her phenomenal command of technique, expression, and distinctive charismatic musical presence. She enjoys a varied career, combining appearances as soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, and educator. Her career has taken her to the US, South America, Asia, and throughout Europe. She performed with esteemed musicians including Olli Mustonen, Isabelle van Keulen, and Michael Collins, and also enjoys interdisciplinary liaisons with actors, writers, and visual artists. She has given masterclasses in the US, Germany, and the Netherlands. Pamela studied at the Sweelinck Conservatory with Jean Decroos and at Indiana University Bloomington (USA) with Janos Starker. She has a broad repertoire, from baroque to contemporary, and has played several world premieres.
Violin
Hailing from Havana, Mirelys Morgan Verdecia studied at the Instituto Superior de Arte performed as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba under baton of Leo Brouwer, and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Cali in Colombia. In 2000, Claudio Abbado selected her to join the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. After winning the Musicalia Music Competition twice, she moved to Europe in 2003 to study in Madrid and Berlin. She played with the Verbier Festival Orchestra and the Orquesta Nacional de España (2009 to 2013), before joining the Concertgebouworchestra. An avid chamber music player, she was a GoYa Quartet member (2014 to 2024) and teaches violin Seville’s Fundación Barenboim-Said. Mirelys plays a Gagliano violin from the collection of the Foundation Concertgebouworkest.
Clarinet
Clarinetist Hein Wiedijk graduated cum laude with George Pieterson at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam and joined the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in 1996. He is also an avid chamber musician and won the Vriendenkrans Competition in 1987 with pianist Frank van de Laar and cellist Larissa Groeneveld, and won several prizes at international competitions. Hein is co-founder of the record label Gutman Records, organizes the Amsterdam Piano Series, and performs around fifty concerts a year with Camerata RCO – the chamber music ensemble he founded in 2009 together with his wife, violinist Annebeth Webb. In 2024 he celebrated his silver jubilee with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Konstantin Zvyagin graduated with honors from the Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow and earned his master's degree from the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. He performs at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe, the USA, and Israel. His accolades include the Crescendo International Music Competition (New York, USA). He is highly regarded for his dedication to Richard Wagner's music, having arranged the Der Ring des Nibelungen opera cycle into an eight-part piano suite, for which the Richard Wagner Bayreuth Festival Foundation honored him with a special certificate. Since 2020 Konstantin teaches at the Akademie für Tonkunst in Darmstadt.
